Beschreibung: 03.06.1941 Date of manufacture at the Boeing factory in Wichita. Initially built as a PT-17 serial number 41-25848 for the US air force, it has been converted to N2S-4 and delivered to the US Navy under the the build No 28011. 19.07.1946 USA War asset administrator sells the aircraft to Brownair Inc. The first civilian registration certificate is published for NC65335. 31.05.1949 The aircraft is modified to be used as crop duster. 16.05.1950 Engine modification from the original continental W6670-6N into Pratt & Wittney R-985-AN-1. 23.10.1979 Aircraft exported to Canada. The new owner, makes a total renovation of the aircraft and installs a new engine Lycoming R680-17. This engine type was the original engines on the N2S-5 models. The Canadian registration is C-GBLQ 04.07.1983 The aircraft is exported in Germany (EDHE) but is still operated under the Canadian registration. 18.05.1986 The aircraft is sold and exported to France. During the ferry flight the aircraft is severely damaged. A five years restoration work is started. 13.06.1992 The aircraft now registered as F-AZEE is based in Dijon Darois (LFGI) and operated there for more than 24 years. 20.04.2016 New home base for the F-AZEE. The aircraft moves to Périgueux (LFBX) 05.10.2021 Fluggruppe Albatros buys the aircraft and import it in Switzerland. 08.04.2022 The Stearman 41-25848 is registered as HB-RBB and is based in Birrfeld (LSZF)
