Beschreibung: The KZ II Trainer was the first primary trainer used by the Royal Danish Air Force in 1946.The KZII Trainer is a reinforced version of KZ II Sport. The prototype flew for the first time in April 1946. After the Second World War, the Danish Air Force faced reconstruction and lacked training aircraft. Scandinavian Aero Industry was able to deliver quickly. Thus, at the end of 1946, there were fifteen aircraft available at the air station in Avnoe. Here, the II T was used for the primary training of future pilots in the air force until 1955, when the remaining 9 trainers were sold for civilian purposes.
Many slightly older pilots in the Danish air force have received their primary training at KZ IIT and remember their experiences with this beautiful aircraft with particular pleasure.
Currently, only 3 KZ IITs are active, OY-FAK, OY-FAE and OY-FAT.
