Beschreibung: Built in 1968 originally for liaison training aircraft. Only 15 Husky’s were built by Auster Beagle which only 2 are flying in the UK.
WS (XW635) was the only Beagle Husky to be operated by the RAF.
It was donated to the RAF in 1969 by Billy Butlin after he won it in a raffle and used for Air Experience Flights for future RAF pilots.
WS was retired from the Air Force in 1989 when I purchased it.
I have done many continental trips in WS accumulating over 2000 hours.
