Beschreibung: N1947S is a Stinson 108-1 "Voyager", which was sold as "the business liner" of the post-war 1940s. This aircraft (S/N 108-1719) came from the factory of Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation in Detroit as NC8719K on June 4, 1947. The aircraft was restored in the United States between 1999 and 2001 and brought to Europe in 2008, where it flew as F-GTTG. Since 2022, the aircraft has been in possession of the current owner. This Stinson is one of the few (if not the only one) in Europe that still flies with the original Franklin 6A4-150-B3 engine. To reduce the load on the engine, the original metal propeller was replaced by a wooden one from MT-Propeller GmbH.
