Description: I purchased the Tiger in a very sorry state and set to rebuilding it. The bottom wings were rebuilt and the top wings were repaired where necessary. The fabric work was carried out by Rebecca Tyers, UK, and the certification and over seeing by Carl Tyers of Windmill Aviation. The Tiger was used as a trainer in the second world war and struck off like many other Tiger Moths in 1956. It was converted to a Thruxton Jackaroo in the 1960s, sadly crashed. It was then rebuilt as a Tiger Moth and used for pleasure flights. I purchased the Tiger in 2005 where I have now completed over 300 hours in it.
