Description: When Dornier wanted to produce a more powerful version of their single engine Do27 STOL aircraft they decided to install a second engine and came up with the unique configuration of mounting the engines on a stub wing either side of the fuselage, thus began the the Do28 series of aircraft which culminated in the much larger Do28D Skyservant.
