Unfortunately, we too have to join the long line of competition cancellations due to the pandemic. Under the given conditions it is unfortunately not possible to hold such a big event at the moment. We would like to thank everyone who supported us, the pilots with their registration, the city of Kirchheim and the BWLV for the helpful discussions. Fortunately, the pandemic is on the wane, but unfortunately it was not enough for us. We are looking forward to a hopefully still eventful flying season and a Hahnweide competition in 2022.

Dear friends of the Hahnweide Competition,
the current Covid situation makes a reliable planning of our competition very difficult. The postponement of the date is already the first of several measures to be able to realize our competition this year. The biggest uncertainty results from the fact that it is not foreseeable how many people will be able to come together for the planned start of the competition. Therefore we start with the following framework data:
- Final confirmation or cancellation of the competition on 28.05.2021.
- payment of the registration fee from 28.05.2021
- max. 80 participants
- no 20m double seater class
- in the open class no co-pilot
- no camping offer yet
We try to realize the competition as far as possible in the usual framework and will keep you up to date in the news.

Dear friends of the Hahnweide Competition,
The 54th International Hahnweide Competition will take place from 25 June to 3 July. The reason for the postponement is the uncertain COVID-situation in early summer from today's point of view. Registration will open on Sunday 24 January 12 pm CET and remain open for one week until Sunday 31 January 12 pm CET. In order to guarantee the safest possible competition, the organisation team has defined a number of measures which we will publish in the coming days together with the competition announcement. In case of changing conditions, the organisation team reserves the right to adjust the measures. We are looking forward to your registrations and a nice Hahnweide competition 2021.

The Fliegergruppe Wolf Hirth e.V. is currently planning the 54th International Hahnweide Gliding Competition 2021. We are currently intensively monitoring the COVID19 situation. The probability that the competition can be held on the traditional date is not very high at the moment. We are therefore considering postponing the date. Please check the website http://wettbewerb.wolf-hirth.de from time to time to stay up to date. See you hopefully soon again at the Hahnweide. Your competition team !
