Dieses Flugzeug ist der ägyptische Lizenzbau der Bücker 181 “Bestmann”. Die “Bestmann” ist der letzte Serien-Flugzeugtyp der Bücker-Werke gewesen und wurde das Standard Anfängerschulflugzeug der Luftwaffe ab 1940. Insgesamt mit allen Lizenzbauten in der Tschechoslowakei, Schweden und Ägypten wurden ca. 5000 Stück produziert. 1955 nach Wiedererlangung der Lufthoheit in Deutschland gehörte Sie zur Erstausstattung der deuten Sportflieger nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg (aller- dings meist schwedische Lizenzbauten). Die Gomhouria wurde in Ägypten von 1959 bis in die siebziger Jahre in 6 verschiedenen Varianten (unterschiedliche Triebwerke) gebaut und wird bis zum heutigen Tage auch noch bei der Luftwaffe eingesetzt. In Deutschland fliegen noch ca. 45 Maschinen inklusive aller Lizenzbauten. / This aircraft is the Egyptian license produced Bücker 181 “Bestmann”. The “Bestmann” was the last in series produced type of the Bücker-Factory and was use in the Luftwaffe as an standard trainer since 1940. Inclusive all licence productions in Czechoslovakia, Sweden and Egypt were approximately 5000 aircrafts totally build. 1955 with the recovery of sovereignty over the airspace from Germany after world war two was the “Bestmann” mostly the initial equipment for the general aviation clubs. (In the majority of cases were this in Sweden built aircrafts)The Egyptian Gomhouria were built since 1959 up to the sixties in 6 versions (different engines). Up to now this type is used in the Egyptian-Airforce. In Germany are approximately 45 aircraft in flyable condition(all license produced aircraft included)
