The Piper Comanche is an extremely efficient aircraft because of its laminar flow wing (using the same airfoil as the P51 Mustang) and low frontal area. Ther design stems from the fifties. Our Comanche is the latest model that has six seats, a "shark nose" with extended propeller hub, and balance weights on rudder and stabilator that reduce flutter and increase the maximum speed. Comanches have set distance and endurance records, and flown around the world. Our model has the optional wingtip tanks and has a total of 120 gallons with which we can fly 11 hours at 130 knots or 5 hours at 165 knots.
