Meteorologist Jupp has predicted good flying weather conditions for today. Have a look for yourself:

The task lengths are between 279km (Standard Class) and 366km (18m Class). The Open Class may circle Stuttgart (331km).

First launch expected at 11.30 a.m. The 15m Class is at the front.

 Today at the briefing we will inform about the departure procedure with Pilot Event Marker. In addition, Andrej Kolar will explain the departure procedure in detail here on his homepage. We are planning to use this procedure in the competition soon.

Gridding has already been started. Today, all five classes will fly.

Grid order: 15m, standard class, 18m, double-seater class and at the end the open class.

We have runway 31 in use.

Brigitte Holighaus spoke about her life and the last days together with husband Klaus. At the same time, she presented her new book entitled "Wagen XX - fünf Minuten" - Unterwegs mit Klaus. It was a very moving speech. Thank you, dear Brigitte!

Klaus Holighaus died on 9 August 1994 at the age of only 54 in a tragic glider crash in the Swiss Alps. He was not found until three days later...

Most of the 18m class pilots are currently on the penultimate leg. The first final approaches are expected shortly.

The two-seater class, on the other hand, still has a lot more to fly. It remains exciting!
